I used to loveeeee getting my nails done. If I still had them, you bet I’d be at the salon all the time! 💅🏼 It made me feel so pretty, you know?
But then life threw me a curveball, and I lost a part of myself. It made me realise something really important. I used to believe that without those perfect nails, I wouldn’t feel beautiful 💔
I’m all for boosting confidence, but I’ve learned the hard way not to overvalue physical appearance over what truly matters — what’s on the inside.
Because things change. Skin gets wrinkles, stretch marks can appear, weight goes up and down, hair can get thiner, and like me, even part of your body can be lost ❤️🩹
True beauty isn’t just about how perfect your nails look or what’s on the outside. It’s about how you feel about yourself deep down. It’s about strength, kindness, and loving yourself, flaws and all.
Today, I stand here not worrying about what my hands look like, but feeling incredible because of the love and confidence I have inside. I know who I am and what I have to offer. Maybe it’s not the prettiest set of nails, hands, or legs, but I can confidently say I’m proud of who I am.
Let’s celebrate our uniqueness and remember that real beauty comes from within. ✨
Don’t let your mind trick you into overvaluing physical appearance over what truly matters — what’s on the inside.
