Wet pavement lowers friction, making it easier to initiate slides and dial in technique. It’s a great way to learn, refine your slides, and keep skating year round instead of waiting for perfect weather.
A couple quick tips
Stand your board up when you’re done so water runs off the deck.
Spin your bearings after your session to push out moisture. Maybe give them another spin later.
