Recipes⬇️ Ever get to the end of the day & all you’ve got left is PROTEIN to eat??? These are a lifesaver! Sweet. Satisfying. Simple. Practically no carbs or fat & all protein! Save & Share ✅ 1️⃣ Salted Caramel Protein Shake Ingredients:
1 scoop caramel or vanilla whey protein
½ cup nonfat Greek yogurt
¼–½ cup cold water or almond milk 
1–2 tbsp sugar-free caramel syrup (like Torani Salted Caramel or Jordan’s skinny syrups) 
Pinch of salt
Ice cubes Optional-sweetener of choice Directions:
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Serve immediately. Macros: 168 cals | 37 g protein | 5 g carbs | 0 g fat 2️⃣ Cinnamon Roll Mug Cake Ingredients:
1 scoop vanilla whey protein
3 tbsp liquid egg whites
1-2 tbsp water or almond milk 
1 tsp cinnamon (or ½ tsp cinnamon + ⅛ tsp nutmeg)
¼ tsp vanilla extract ¼ tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
sweetener of choice 
Optional: small swirl SF maple syrup over top Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a microwave-safe mug. Microwave 60–75 seconds until set. Sprinkle w/ extra cinnamon if desired & serve warm. Macros: 164 cals |38 g protein |3 g carbs |0 g fat 3️⃣Cherry Limeade Protein Bowl Ingredients:
½ cup Fage 0% Greek yogurt
¾ scoop creamy vanilla whey protein
2 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
A sprinkle of Sonic Zero Sugar Cherry Limeade Drink Mix Packets (watch out little goes a long way so add slowly!) Directions:
Whip yogurt w/whisk 1-2 min. Fold in protein, almond milk & cherry limeaid mix to incorporate well. Chill 15 min. Do you have any thoughts or experience with this? If so please share! We are taught to eat less and less and then we wonder why we can’t see changes. It’s because your metabolism is moving at a snails 🐌 pace with the lack of food over an extended period of time and hoards the food you do eat. Don’t believe me? Check out my training page- @dfh.training.pics - many are listed as a reverse diet on the picture or in the caption (meaning I increased the food intake). In fact I reverse diet 30-40% of my clients and the numbers just seem to keep going up. Diets only talk about reducing your food intake, but in order for a calorie deficit to be effective you have to have a high enough calorie bank to reduce from. It’s like trying to withdraw money out of a bank account when the account is low. It doesn’t work & in fact you get fined (aka body stores fat when there isn’t enough food to meet the basal metabolic rate). In a reverse diet you slowly increase your food intake which allows you to improve the metabolism and build muscle in the process. Win/Win 🏆! You can do this by intuitively eating but having awareness or by raising between 100 to 200 cal balanced across the macros correctly every 2-4 weeks. Find your base level and start the increase. In this process people often lose weight because their body has no need to hold onto stored energy. Some people maintain weight and if there has been years of severe under eating and/or over-exercising for an extended period of time a very small amount may gain, but it should be minimal. Having a coach help you do this can make that be less likely, but fixing the metabolism is THE key to finding your solution to your goals of fat loss, building muscle or maintaining weight You can’t live your life in a calorie deficit. It will murder your metabolism and hinder putting on muscle which helps your metabolism move faster. Plus this creates “yo yo dieting” and binging. In my stories yesterday I share a email from a client I was reverse dieting and how she was so happy to not feel guilty around food! You don’t need that guilt and shame either! I prep the night before. → Gym bag packed, water filled, workout outfit laid out. I’m up at 5 AM, so “winging it” isn’t an option. 2. I walk every single day — even if it’s just 10 minutes. → It clears my head, helps with recovery, and gets my steps in when the day gets away from me. 3. I food prep every week — and I make it realistic. → I don’t cook fancy meals; I prep my basics so I’m never scrambling or tempted to order takeout midweek. 4. I plan my workout days every Sunday. → My schedule changes weekly, but my goals don’t. I map out my 5 lift days first, then fill in everything else around them. 5. I track what I eat — not to be perfect, but to stay aware. → Awareness keeps me progressing and makes adjustments easy when things stall. These aren’t rules to restrict me — they’re boundaries that make staying consistent simple.
