DORating Acne Treatments (Explained Below) ⬇️

✅ CeraVe Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser: Great product with Benzoyl Peroxide for acne. Can also be used for back acne. Leave on for 2-3 minutes and then wash off completely
❌✅ Tea tree oil: Dr Maxfield says Yes, I say No. the truth is that tea tree has been shown to be effective for acne. The problem is that it’s high risk of allergy and irritation due to the limonene concentration. This one you have to balance efficacy with safety and decide for yourself!
❌ Oxy wipes: Salicylic acid in these is great but the super high alcohol concentration and fragrance will be irritating for most.
✅ Differin gel: Adapalene is one of the best ingredients for acne. Apply a pea size at night. Results in 2-3 months
❌ Apple cider vinegar: No matter what people say anecdotally, there’s no evidence that this helps with acne

For this video, I decided to expand beyond just Humpty Dumptys in Alice books and look at other interpretations as well, many of which come from Mother Goose collections.
Fun fact: Humpty Dumpty is never actually described as an egg in the original rhyme. In many early illustrations he appeared simply as a boy sitting on a wall. The now-iconic egg shape was popularized largely after Through the Looking-Glass (1871) and has since become the character’s most recognizable feature.

Fermented Rice Water
Ingredients:
Medium grain white rice 2 cups
A large bowl
Cold water for rinsing
Cold water 4 cups
Glass jar quart-size with lid
Steps:
Add rice to a large bowl.
Rinse lightly with cold water and drain. Repeat.
Add 4 cups of cold water. Gently agitate rice for 1 minute to release more starch into water.
Pour rice water into clean glass jar.
Close the lid. Let sit in room temperature for at least 1 to 7 days, depending on how fermented you prefer. Store in the fridge.
Yeast will form which is normal. You can strain it if prefer.
Use it as a face toner 1 to 2 times per day after cleansing.

CRI am a product of the Maxfield Park Children’s Home. Those walls saw my tears, my fears, and my first lessons in survival. But they also nurtured my strength, shaped my resilience, and planted seeds of hope that would one day grow into purpose.
This morning on CVM at Sunrise, I shared a piece of that journey not for sympathy, but to remind the world that beauty can be born from broken places. What was once my pain became my foundation. What was once my limitation became my motivation.
Today, through the Give to Inspire Foundation, I return to Maxfield not as the child who needed a home, but as a woman determined to give back. This Christmas, on December 20th, we are creating a day of joy, laughter, and love for the children who stand where I once stood. Because every child deserves to feel worthy, seen, and celebrated.
My story is proof: your past does not chain you it prepares you. The trials you survive become the tools you use to build others up. And the places that once held your brokenness can become the stage for your purpose.
Thank you, CVM TV at Sunrise, for giving me the space to share not just my story, but my mission. May it serve as a reminder to anyone who feels forgotten your story is not over, it’s only beginning.
