Inside, these robots are powered by compact electric motors that act like artificial muscles. That is how they pull off backflips, keep balance on rough ground, and adjust their posture in a split second. They constantly calculate their position in space, correcting themselves dozens of times every second. One standout model is the G1 humanoid. It can fold down small enough to fit into a regular suitcase, but once powered on it maps rooms with laser sensors and uses dexterous robotic hands to handle objects with surprising precision. Unitree focuses on keeping their robots relatively affordable and tough, aiming to move them beyond research labs and into factories, warehouses, and eventually homes.
