RIGoing to your first ren faire can be so intimidating. These are a few things I learned after my first couple faires that would’ve made everything feel way easier:
+ Eat before you think you need to. Food lines get wild around noon, and they stay that way. Earlier is always better, and if you see a short line, get in immediately.
+ Bring cash in small bills. It keeps things moving and makes buying from vendors way smoother. There's typically ATMs, but the lines are LONG.
+ Have a loose spending plan in mind. Whether you’re hunting for one special souvenir or a staple costume piece, the options are endless and it’s easy to get overwhelmed.
+ When it comes to outfits, layering is everything. You don’t need full “ren faire” pieces: stack skirts, tie scarves or bandanas to your belt, and add lots of jewelry.
