In wet and windy conditions pretty pleased the way these new Titleist clubs are treating me #teamtitleist
1st Shot: High fade with Driver just carrying the water splitting the fairway
2nd shot: Awful strike out of the toe with my hybird
3rd shot: Good Pitch to make up for the previous🤣
4th: So close for the birdie!

KAJumping our biggest course yet! 🐎✨
I had a showjumping lesson with Cameron Beer last week @mendipplains_ston_easton_newac and he gave me a great mantra: ‘bum down, hands up.’ Repeating it to myself made such a difference—especially when coming in on a dodgy stride. It kept me out of Gyps’ way and allowed her to just pop up and sail over the fence.
This was the biggest course we’ve done, with some fences up to 1.10m, but Gyps made it feel effortless. What a superstar! 💕

BRFamily camping at @mendipbasecamp! ⛺️ Read below ⬇️
We were recently #invited to camp in a bell tent at @mendipbasecamp and visit @mendipactivitycentre during our stay! This was our camping experience but see our next reel to what we got up to at the activity centre and Mendip Lodge ⛷️
This is a fab campsite where you can bring your own tent, caravan or camper, or rent a bell tent, glamping safari tent or bunk house! Staying in a bell tent was the perfect way for us to see if we liked camping before committing to buying a tent!
Why visit? 🏕️
• Short woodland walk to the activity centre which has LOADS of activities to keep you occupied e.g. skiing, tobogganing, canoeing, climbing, etc! (Age restrictions vary)
• Mendip Lodge pub or @thealpinelounge Diner are a short walk and have a great selection of food e.g. pies, burgers, pizza, slushies, ice cream
• Very friendly and helpful staff made our day ⭐️
• Huge sand pit (take buckets and spades)
• Table tennis
• Pavillion camping shop with a great selection, it also has a coffee shop, serves breakfast daily and on select days pizza ☕️ 🥓
• Off grid but charging points in the Pavillion
• Chill out seating area in the Pavillion good for rainy days 🌧️
• Woodland walks
• Fire pits for hire (£10) and s’mores kits - we loved this!
• Dog friendly 🐶
• Not far from @puxtonpark, @thegrandpier at WSM, or Court Farm Country Park for other day trips!
We thought it was a great camp site and excellent to have so many options for activities. Thank you for making our first family camping trip so memorable @mendipbasecamp!

OUad 🏕️ CAMPING ESSENTIALS 🏕️
I feel like my list of “family camping essentials” is forever growing, but here are a few things from @regattaoutdoors that definitely help us achieve a lovely family getaway.
- chairs for the *whole* family - don’t forget the little ones otherwise they will end up stealing yours!
- a picnic blanket - this is a great way of giving the kids a designated safe play area
- fast-drying swimwear with UV protection - perfect for water fights on site or if you have any water sports planned
- towelling robes - great for walking back to the tent after a shower
- a large battery-powered lamp - big enough to keep the whole family / tent lit at night and can also double up as a torch
- compact cooking pots and pans
- a ping-pong table - for those evenings around the campsite and early morning starts
- a cosy sleeping bag - maybe the most important essential!
There are lots more essential items I can think of too so I might have to do a part 2….

I highly recommend this campsite. It’s the first one we ever tried when Marley was just 6 months old and this is the second time we have visited. So much to do, an amazing atmosphere and importantly, very clean facilities! I am an absolute snob when it comes to toilets and showers but I was very happy using them! 🚿 🚽
Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. I know camping can feel daunting with a young family but it really is a great experience for everyone 🏕️⛺️

A.‼️Very exciting news‼️ We were checking one of the trail cameras from the woods at A Patch Wilder and came across a video of this bouncy little fella' - a PINE MARTEN!!!
This species has been extinct from the Southwest (and most of England) for over 100 years. In recent years, reintroductions have taken place in the Forest of Dean, Exmoor, and Dartmoor but the closest of these is over 50 miles from the Patch here in the Mendip Hills so we're not too sure where this guy has come from? One thing we are sure of though is that we hope it sticks around and brings some friends along.
For some time we have thought that the Mendip Hills would be well-suited to supporting recolonizing pine martens, with the woodland, den sites and food abundance that they need, but never in a million years did we expect to see one so soon!
It is safe to say that this has been probably the biggest and best surprise we have had since starting the project 5 years ago. 🤞Fingers crossed we don't have to wait too long before another record here.

REEASTER FUN AT MENDIP ACTIVITY CENTRE 🐣
We had the best morning, such a great activity to kickstart our half term fun this weekend.
The children absolutely loved flying down the slopes and racing eachother. it’s sensory seekers heaven. Great for all ages and families and friends to enjoy together. The had an Easter egg hunt around the site too which was engaging and great for the children to participate in and chocolate prize at the end 😍
Thank you so much for inviting us along @mendipactivitycentre We will definitely be back to try out some of your other amazing activities too!
