I mixed together @miraclegro Potting Mix, perlite, and orchid bark to get that light, chunky, breathable texture roots thrive in. This is the exact blend I use for everything I grow in soil 🤍
My mix ratio:
🌿 50% Miracle-Gro Potting Mix
🟤 25% perlite
🌳 25% orchid bark
This combo stays airy, prevents compaction, and still holds the perfect amount of moisture for strong, consistent growth. Perfect root balance every time ✨

This method reduces root issues, improves oxygen flow, and gives you better control over watering in the long run.

HAYikes!! You just checked the roots on your favorite plant and it looks like a giant bowl of cooked spaghetti...
No worries, here’s what you’re going to do!
1. Unpot your plant (if there are roots through the drainage hole, carefully weave them back through).
2. Grab a new planter that is two inches wider in diameter.
3. Use the plant to measure how much soil you need to add to the bottom of the planter.
4. Fill the bottom, place the plant in, and keep adding potting mix till the plant is secure.
5. Add all our @happyhappyhousplant products to your watering can to help your plant thrive in its new home.
