The most famous Jacaranda spot in Sydney. Jacaranda trees creates splendid purple-lined road and it reminded me of Korean cherry blossom street a lot.
Also there’s #milsonpark where you can have a sit and take some fresh air.

시드니에서 가장 유명한 자카란다 스팟이라고 해서 가본 곳이에요. 길 양쪽으로 자카르타 나무가 있는데 한국 여의도 벚꽃길이 많이 생각 났어요. 🥰 바로 옆에 #밀슨스파크 도 있어서 잠시 앉아서 신선한 공기도 쐴 수 있는 너무 좋았던 곳 이에요.
호주에서 자카르타는 봄인 10-11월에 핀다고 하니 참고 하세요!

JUCo tak pięknie pachnie i zdobi ulice na fioletowo w Australii?
To drzewa jakarandy mimozolistnej, inaczej znane też jako drzewo różane, drzewo palisadowe.
Sama nazwa jakaranda oznacza „pachnące” i zdecydowanie oddaje jej naturę bo pachnie przepięknie.
Najlepszym okresem, żeby zaobserwować kwitnące drzewa jakarandy jest czas między drugą połową października a całym listopadem.
Dodatkowo okres kwitnienia jest ściśle związany z końcówką roku szkolnego i w środowisku młodzieżowym, jakaranda jest uważana za drzewo egzaminacyjne. Nawet jest taki przesad, że jak gałąź jakarandy uderzy Cię w głowę, to znaczy, że zdasz wszystkie egzaminy.
Drzewa te kwitną pojedynczo wzdłuż ulic więc warto się wybrać do takiego miejsca gdzie jest ich więcej. Polecam dzielnicę Kirribilli i obszar tuż przy Milson Park przy McDougall Street. Cała ta ulica jest pokryta wygląda jak „fioletowy tunel” więc widok przepiękny.
Kwiaty jakarandy trochę przypinają mi nasze polskie bzy, które również uwielbiam.

LIHave you been to check out Parramatta’s new wetland? 💧🌿🦆
Milson Park Wetland, located behind Westmead Private Hospital has been recently completed, funded by Sydney Water’s Waterway Health Improvement Program. It forms part of City of Parramatta Council’s Masterplan for the Westmead Health and Education Precinct. The aim of the project is to improve waterway and catchment health, pedestrian and cycleway connection and provides a diverse range of recreational activities for the local community.
Here you can enjoy a lovely walk through the new native plantings, a nature play area, bird viewing platform, exercise equipment, cycle path and picnic shelters. Birds and other wildlife have already started making the wetland home, and the local biodiversity will only continue to increase with time!
