For several years, I invested majority of my time laboring behind the chair. Client to client. Sometimes no breaks.
It wasn’t until I became a mom that I was able to create standards and boundaries for myself business.
Now I do what works for me. I may not have as many clients as I did when I first started out, but the ones I do respect my business and I respect their time, in return.
Piece of advice to my stylist friends BURNOUT is real. Yes, making money is important, but creating boundaries that benefit you and your family are most important.
Know your capacity.
