NAI have only been quilting for 2 1/2 years.
This Pint Size Wedge Star tool from Studio 180 Design has made me a better quilter. I had a good teacher in @mtgranny
It helps me precisely cut each piece for my blocks, and it helps me to trim the wedges for my Alaska Quilt perfectly.
I continue to use this tool to trim the wedges meeting with my corner pieces, which helps me to get a perfect 9 1/2 in square block when completed.
One of the bonuses is the Studio 180 Design website provides other quilt patterns you can use this Pint Size Wedge Star tool to make.
I love this Alaska Quilt design by Laundry Basket Designs. I’m not using a traditional set of fabrics. 😂 I’m having so much fun with it. I just bought another six fabrics to make the next one.
I fell in love with the Moda Fabrics, Peppermint Bark line of fabrics designed by Basic Grey. Most of the fabrics in my quilt blocks are from this line. 😍

OHWoo hoo! I finally got Donated Block Quilt #1 on the Longarm quilting machine. These quilt blocks have been made and donated from quilters all over the globe for our veterans. This is going to be a beauty. It has red Cuddle from @shannonfabrics on the back and a fluffy wool batting from @hobbsbatting (that I cut incorrectly for another quilt but was able to use here). I am using the Ginger Star pantograph from @urban.elementz and stitching it out with Pro-Stitcher on my Handi-Quilter Forte. Red Omni from @superiorthreads on top and red DecoBob from @wonderfilspecialtythread in the bobbin. These are all of my favorite things!!!! And I had to show off my 10th Mountain Division lanyard for good measure. My son has moved to a new unit but I like my lanyard! @handiquilter @prostitcherquilting #qov #tenthmountaindivision
