There are so many better alternatives to toxic treats - real food that actually nourishes the body and the brain. Yet we’re constantly told that moderation is the solution. But moderation of what? When a large part of the population is chronically ill, reliant on medication, and struggling both mentally and physically, it’s time to question the system! Children’s health is declining rapidly. Lifestyle-related diseases linked to poor nutrition are rising, and mental health struggles are increasing year by year. Research now also clearly shows that nutrition, epigenetics, and brain health are deeply connected. More than one million people die prematurely each year due to micronutrient deficiencies, many of them children under five. UNICEF has declared a child health crisis in Western countries: children are both overweight and undernourished. This is not about perfection or restriction. It’s about recognizing that our food systems are broken. Ultra-processed, nutrient-poor foods - filled with substances that don’t belong in the human body - are aggressively marketed to children as «healthy». This is cynical marketing. Children have especially high nutritional needs. They need real nourishment, not empty calories! We need to stop excusing toxic food with the word moderation. You cannot moderate poison and expect health! #healthyfoods

Night walks. If I could walk, I did. 2️⃣ Cut processed sugar (all forms). Not moderation. Not “just one bite.” I stopped it completely. 3️⃣ Drank more water 💧 Simple. Underrated. Powerful. 4️⃣ Prioritised protein 🍳 Kept me full for longer, reduced cravings, and helped me stay on track. 5️⃣ Put myself in a challenge Because accountability works even when motivation doesn’t. I don’t drink alcohol at all any more. No moderation, no special occasions. There is no benefit to drinking alcohol. 2. I don’t get less than 8 hours sleep. 3. I don’t forget to take my supplements. Methylated folate, omega3s, choline, magnesium and vitamin D 4. I don’t neglect my oral health. Gum disease is linked to preeclampsia, premature birth and low birth weight. 5. I don’t avoid healthy fats in my diet. Fat is crucial for a functioning body and normal hormone activity #dentist #conception #fertility #pregnancy #pregnancyprep
