NOMystery steel monolith appears in wales
When Craig Muir left his house in Hay-on-Wye in Powys, Wales, on March 12 to take his usual walk, he noticed something strange. At first, he thought it might be some scientific device to collect rainwater, but upon closer inspection, he realized it was anything but that.
The 10-foot-tall steel monolith looked like it had ‘just been dropped down from space,’ Muir said. He added, ‘If you didn’t know anything, to look at it, you could have easily thought it had been dropped off by a UFO or something.’
Muir said that there is no way to drive to the location of the monolith, and surmised that it may have been transported via helicopter.
‘There were no obvious tracks around it and one would think that something like that would cause a lot of mess,’ he added.
This monolith in Wales is the latest to appear, with several similar ones having popped up across the globe in late 2020. The unique metal structures were placed in Utah, California, Romania, and Turkey, with seemingly no explanation.
