One way is not better than the other (maybe 😉😜) ❤️🍐 And yes, I know western pears are best eaten with the skin, but Korean pears? I have never had one with the skin on. The skin is quite tough and not a very nice texture, but what’s underneath it is so sweet and juicy mmmmmm 🤤. Traditionally, and even nowadays, I have only had Korean pear peeled and cut, no other way. I enjoy peeling Korean pears; it’s easier than peeling an apple. Korean pear is also used a lot for health supplement teas and in cooking (marinating meat in grated pear or fresh pear juice to soften the texture).
