I was trolling across a shallow flat when this big girl decided to eat. A lot of times these fish will push very shallow on warm sunny days during the late winter and early spring. That’s exactly where I found them this day. So, the last photo was from this morning, and I went back this afternoon before lightning cut my fishing short. I ran out of one of my most reliable soft baits simply because I have boated or banked roughly 150 fish since I arrived in my little slice of farm pond Heaven. The @missile_baits 3:10 to Yuma D-Bomb available from @copperstatemarinetackle has been a BEAST (Thank you to my friend @garykeyfishing for that gem). The bass were hitting on the D-Bomb Pink Belly color all week as well, so I thought I'd throw that one. 1st cast, absolute smash. What a RUSH!! Here's the beauty of it. The 3:10 to Yuma as a jig trailer caught one even bigger three days ago in the same spot! Photos to come. #largemouthbass #largemouthbassfishing #largemouthnation #missilebaits #kastking #kastkingusa

Rover Baits Pt. 2 All swim baits have their time and place but @roverbaits for me, are my favorite when I am trying to get a bait a little bit deeper over structure in the summer or slow rolling during the fall months lower in the column. In the next two clips that is exactly what the muskies wanted. I ended up going 3 for 3 with one mid 30s pike during a late November outing on Lake St Clair. Late season when you are slow rolling the bait always keep an eye for the telltale line jump as the muskies will engulf a bait completely choking it down. This causes slack in your line and sometimes you can barely feel the hit. #musky #catchandrelease #fish #fishingdaily #lake
