This took us an entire day — researching the exact filming spots, finding the perfect angles, waiting for crowds to clear, and playing around with edits to recreate that cinematic Star Wars feel.
We’ve done all the hard work so you don’t have to.Here’s how we did it — and you can do it too.
✨ Shot breakdown:
• Opening clip: In front of the main fountain near the statue of Aníbal González. The “flying vehicle” effect? Just a phone.
• 2nd clip: Walking with the tripod toward the right side of the fountain (west side of the plaza).
• 3rd clip: Walking up the bridge stairs on the right-hand bridge toward the plaza, tripod set on top.
• 4th clip: Walking down same bridge — zoom effects added in editing.
• 5th clip: Left side of the plaza past the grand arch pillars — hold tripod while walking.
• Final shot: Wide angle further left to capture the dramatic curve of the pillars.
🚋 How to get there (public transport):
Take the T1 tram to Prado de San Sebastián and walk about 10 minutes through the park. You can also take buses C1, C2, or 34.
