OPHow to prep nails like a pro 💅 *SAVE* for your next at-home spa day!
Steps:
1️⃣ Remove existing polish with a nail wipe saturated with nail polish remover
2️⃣ File your nails to your desired nail shape
3️⃣ Massage a small amount of cuticle cream into the nail
4️⃣ Gently glide a cuticle pusher along the nail, lifting and removing any cuticle
5️⃣ Use a cuticle stick to carefully nip away any remaining cuticle
6️⃣ Remove any oil or debris using a nail wipe saturated in N.A.S 99 Cleansing Solution
7️⃣ Optional: for extra adhesion, apply a layer of Chip Skip primer to each nail

OLWhen I first started as a nail tech 10 years ago, I wasn’t taught anywhere near enough what I needed to know at my beginners course.
I rushed the prep, as long as the nail looks smooth and some of the cuticle was gone that was good enough. This then meant my product application wasn’t smooth, flush to the cuticle or sidewalls, and often lifted before 3-4 weeks.
Learning how to CORRECTLY and THOROUGHLY prep the natural nail before you even go near it with gel is essential.
A flawless base makes applying your product easier, increases the retention and creates a perfect canvas for nail art.
