Nasal Bleeding A nosebleed / epistaxis Nakseer happens when one of the blood vessels in the lining of the nose bursts. It may be caused by infection, injury, allergic reaction, nose picking or an object being pushed into the nostril. It is common in children and is usually not serious.The most common cause of nosebleeds is dry air. Hot, low-humidity climates or heated indoor air cause dry air. Both environments cause your nasal membrane (the delicate tissue inside your nose) to dry out and become crusty or cracked. This makes it more likely to bleed when rubbed or picked or when blowing your nose. . Aggravation of Pitta is the cause of bleeding. This aggravation, when mixes with the Rakta Dhatu cause epistaxis. It may be a standalone condition or occur in line with other conditions. Lean forward , do not blow, Use a cold compress. Use a bowl, put some water to it and few drops of saline water. Mix it well and put a few drops of this solution in your nose to moisten the inner lining of the nasal passages. Excess heat can induce. Take 1/2 tsp ghee in your palm, rub and liquify it and put in your nose. U can put 5 to 10 drops each nostril. This stops bleeding. It can be done 2 to 3 times with 1/2 hour gap. Type “yes” if you are also having Nose Bleeding during your Pregnancy..!!👍🏻😊😊 ✅ Why it Happens (Causes) • Hormonal changes (↑ estrogen & progesterone → swelling of nasal blood vessels). • Increased blood volume → delicate vessels in the nose break easily. • Dry air / winter / AC exposure → dryness in nasal passages. • Allergies, sinus infection, or cold → irritation leads to bleeding. • Frequent nose blowing or picking. 🤰 What’s Normal • Occasional, small bleeding from one nostril. • Stops on its own within a few minutes. • Happens more in 2nd & 3rd trimester. ⚠️ What’s Not Normal • Heavy bleeding that doesn’t stop after 10–15 mins. • Bleeding from both nostrils at the same time. • Associated with headache, dizziness, high BP, or vision changes (may indicate preeclampsia). • Very frequent episodes. • If blood goes into mouth/throat → causing vomiting or choking. 🩹 What to Do (At Home) • Sit upright & lean slightly forward (don’t lie down). • Pinch the soft part of your nose (just below the bridge) for 10 minutes without interruption. • Apply a cold compress on the nose/cheek area. • Keep nasal passages moist with saline spray or a dab of coconut oil/ghee/vaseline. • Drink enough water → prevent dryness. • Use a humidifier if air is dry. 👩‍⚕️ When to See a Doctor • If bleeding is heavy / doesn’t stop after 15 mins. • If you have high blood pressure. • If nosebleeds are very frequent or severe. • If accompanied by headache, blurred vision, swelling in hands/feet (possible preeclampsia). • If you feel dizzy, faint, or weak. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to share this, but this has been one of the scariest experiences of my life. I had to go to the hospital again for another pregnancy scare. The baby is still doing okay — thank God — but the bleeding has gotten worse, and every moment feels like walking on eggshells. No one prepares you for how emotionally exhausting pregnancy can be when things don’t go as planned. Every twinge, every appointment, every trip to the bathroom becomes something you hold your breath through. This whole journey has reminded me not to take a healthy pregnancy for granted. It’s made me more grateful, more aware, and honestly… more vulnerable than I’ve ever been. I don’t have all the answers right now — just a lot of hope, a lot of fear, and a heart that’s trying to stay strong. ❤️ Thank you for being here with me through it all. #Pregnant #postpartum

Используйте увлажнитель воздуха в комнате ребенка, особенно в зимний период, когда включено отопление.  2. Увлажняйте носовую слизистую: Можно аккуратно смазывать ноздри изнутри ватной палочкой с вазелином или специальным детским маслом (например, персиковым), чтобы поддерживать увлажненность слизистой.  3. Избегайте травм: Напоминайте ребенку не трогать и не ковырять нос. Можно объяснить, что это может привести к кровотечению.  4. Используйте солевые растворы: Промывания носа с помощью физиологического раствора (или специальных капель на основе морской воды) помогут увлажнить слизистую и избежать ее пересыхания.  5. Поддерживайте здоровый уровень витаминов: Убедитесь, что в рационе ребенка достаточно витамина C и других витаминов, поддерживающих здоровье сосудов. Врач может порекомендовать добавки, если они нужны.  6. Избегайте сильных нагрузок: Если у ребенка было недавнее кровотечение, лучше избегать активных игр или нагрузок, которые могут повысить артериальное давление и спровоцировать новое кровотечение.  7. Следите за уровнем влажности и температуры: Поддерживайте комфортную температуру (около 20-22°C) и влажность (40-60%) в помещении, особенно в спальне.  8. Научите правильной технике сморкания: Если ребенку нужно высморкаться, объясните, что делать это нужно аккуратно, без резких выдохов. ❗️Если симптомы в течение 3 месяцев после соблюдения этих рекомендаций не станут реже, то необходимо обратиться к врачу повторно!
