✨Hey, let me show you somethin. ✨Use the mylar roll and any color backdrop or the white walls to create this marbled look in our studio! ✨Quick Tip: Use the HSI mode on our Neewer CB100C lights to easily change colors! Just press the HSI button, then press the dial knob to move through HSI, turn to adjust the Hue (H) to pick your color, Saturation (S) to control intensity, and up and down buttons to adjust Intensity (I) for brightness. Play with the dial and watch your lighting transform! ✨ ⏰ Set up time including paper roll on c stands: about 10 minutes. Easiest with two people but can be done with one. Remember, you’ll need clips to secure the roll so it doesn’t unravel and crumble/wrinkle when pulling it out. Be slow and patient please & tape the edges down to the floor. I take these shots at home without too much equipment, here’s what I use so you can have a go yourself! ✅ Camera - Sony A7Rii - slightly older mirrorless camera but still an absolute beast with high resolution ✅ Lens - This was shot with a Sony 90mm f2.8 Macro ✅ Lights - Vevelux softbox LED Lighting kit - super cheap and super effective - plus a Neewer 176 led light with a diffuser ✅ Tripod - Neewer carbon tripod - not too expensive, but lightweight and mega stable ✅ Extras - Smallgrip Magic arms - the most useful things ever for holding things in place, plus white foam boards for reflectors, and coloured foam sheets as a backdrop - finally a Lens blower and brush, to get rid of that pesky dust! A little fiddle with lighting, angles and a tune in Lightroom, and away you go! Easy as that! Here’s the lighting setup I used for this studio shoot: For this look, I worked with three Amaran 300cs and one Neewer MS60C. I placed one 300c with a snoot directly in front of my model, set to a pink color, to create a focused pop of light on the face and upper body. For the backdrop, I aimed one 300c with white light toward the background and added the Neewer MS60C as an extra background light to make the white even more even and bright. Then, I positioned one more 300c with a spotlight attachment slightly behind the model to serve as a subtle hair light, giving clean separation and dimension.
