ALSo yes… we SANG “He’s in the Jailhouse Now” backstage with DELMAR himself. 😄🍿
Getting to meet and sing with Tim Blake Nelson — one of the main characters from O Brother, Where Art Thou? — was a big deal to us.
That movie’s a classic, and there we were in one of the Opry dressing rooms just picking and singing together.
It wasn’t perfect, and we didn’t rehearse a thing. Our whole band jumped in, Salima and Delmar sang lead, and we just went for it.
He’s such a fun, easygoing guy, and it honestly felt like we’d known him longer than five minutes.
A reminder why we love what we do.
