KIMusic is the only way to quiet the voices for me. I don’t know about others, but for me, music is the only way to keep my alters at Bay.
What are the voices like?
- The voices may be altered in communicating with each other.
- They can be friendly or argumentative.
- The voices might be part of a flashback that includes visual elements.
- They may also be threatening or distressing.
90% of the time it’s my alters fighting with each other or they wanna butt into a conversation that I’m having with someone.
each one of my alters has their playlist so when they are fronting, it helps them focus.
Like roommates that barley get along 😂

ARDissociation.
Dissociation made me forget the worst parts of my trauma. I remember waking up in the morning, getting ready, leaving home, arriving to school, having my Finnish and literature class, and then suddenly I was already back home.
My mom asked me in the evening, "how was school today?"
I felt confused, as if there was something I was supposed to remember, supposed to tell mom about, wanted to talk to her about, but I couldn't remember it. So I just said, "it was fine, the Finnish and lit lesson was the best tho."
I spent the majority of my days in elementary school in severely dissociated state. Memories of my peers assaulting me started to surface when I turned 20 years old. Now, at 25, I am still remembering more and more things, even before elementary, as early as three years old.
I did tell my parents about the bullying, but only like one fifth of it. I didn't tell them the worst parts, not because I didn't want to.
But because I couldn't remember.
Because there was nothing to tell.
I was fine. The Finnish and literature lesson was nice.
