PE🎉 OSIC NATIONALS – LET’S GO, BACH! 🥁🔥
A massive day for Bach Nguyen, representing Peter’s Private Drum Lessons and his own BACH DRUM ACADEMY at the OSIC National Drum Championships in Melbourne.
As his teacher, I’m incredibly proud of this young legend. Bach has completed every grade in both major exam systems — finishing on the highest level, Grade 8, in Rockschool and Trinity College London, both with Distinction.
And here’s what makes his journey truly historic:
⭐ He completed all his grades by the age of 10, making him the youngest drummer in Australia to ever achieve this milestone.
Add to that his recent victory:
🥇 NSW State Champion – 1st Place OSIC State Championships
And now he steps onto the national stage to take on the top young drummers from around the country.
🔥 If Bach wins today, he will officially become the youngest best drummer in Australia.
Whatever the outcome, he has already made us all extremely proud — his family, his students, both our schools, and especially me.
