a few weeks ago i read a story about a woman who wore an oura ring and had recently had a hysterectomy. she had been home from the hospital for a couple of days and felt fine, but her oura ring said she was experiencing major signs of something straining her body. just to be sure she was okay because of the recent surgery, she went to the ER to get checked out and explained her oura ring said her body was straining. she soon found out that she was in sepsis and had zero idea because she hadn’t experienced any symptoms at all. when i told cam about the story, he immediately said i needed to get an oura ring, so i got one! i’m having a total endometriosis excision, bilateral video assisted thoracic surgery, cystoscopy, and hysterectomy in 2 months and after hearing that story, felt like the oura ring could help notify me something may be wrong, especially if i’m not having unusual symptoms. i did a lot of searching between oura ring, ringconn, and ultrahuman to see which one i’d prefer. i chose oura ring because the app is easy to navigate it appeared between the 3 choices and i like the minor & major signals it gives if something is off. it’s visually appealing and i didn’t mind paying the subscription price, which i ended up just paying for 1 year up front. the oura ring tracks your body temperature, heart rate, oxygen, stress levels, activity, sleep, food, heart health, and cycle regularity. what sort of devices do you guys use to help with your disabilities and chronic illnesses?
