GRAs I write my memoir, I can’t help but to see God’s goodness in all of the pain that the enemy meant for evil.
Grace is operating in forgiveness towards someone when they dont deserve it but you give it anyway. Especially if they don’t care for it.
Most of the characters that were responsible in my wrongful conviction were never held accountable nor did they take responsibility.
The thought of this can produce chains within your mind and soul that surpass all prison walls or fences, leading to a life full of bitterness and resentment.
Would the world blame me if I held bitterness and rage towards the ones who helped take years of my life and football career away from me? NOPE. They would expect it.
Would the world blame me if I was messed up with all sorts of trauma and hated the justice system, police and DAs after all that happened to me? NOPE. They’d say “hate away.”
What good is it to experience and overcome an absolute travesty and not be apart of the change you wish you saw during your adversity?
Freedom Is what I choose, I choose to forgive and be a testimony of God’s love and grace.
This is the secret to moving on and looking forward to what God has in store for me next.
So this memoir might be my story, but it can be yours too, with whatever you’re going through and have gone through.
Grace wins.
Onward to more life and freedom.
