Mindset reset 🤍
A few years ago, I decluttered to save my mental health… and it actually worked. Cleaning got easier, my home felt calmer, and I learned a lot about the act of letting go not just physical stuff, but emotional weight too.
I let go of over half our belongings. I was scared, I didn’t always know where to start, and some days I questioned everything… but I kept going.
Little by little, I felt more peace. I realized how much “stuff” can hold stagnant energy, and I learned to trust the process and believe I already had enough.
And then it hit me: it wasn’t only weighing me down emotionally… it was weighing me down financially too. All that stuff wasn’t just money, it was my time. Time I could’ve spent with family, or doing other things.
I can always try make more money (or find a way to replace some stuff), but I can’t get my time back.it took me a while to get and think of it that way, but once it did, it made the biggest difference.
So I started becoming a more intentional consumer, and news flash, it started saving me money.
If you’re looking for a sign… this is your sign to be a mindful consumer and start letting go without guilt. 🫶🏻
