Comisariada por @lorenzocaprile y #EloyMartinezdelapera, la exposición tiene como objetivo destacar la estrecha relación de la Casa de Alba con el mundo de la moda, como clientes y como mecenas, en un marco cronológico que abarca desde el siglo s. XIX hasta la actualidad.

El Palacio de Liria se abre para que descubramos uno de los más bellos diálogos que se producen en la Historia entre arte, moda y patrimonio. OWPicking out paper ✂️ I often get asked where I get my paper from, what stocks I like to use and how I pick out my colours? 🤔
Most of my paper is picked up on the go, from a range of art stores – if I see a sheet I like grab it! Some of my regular spots include @srstevenson68, @londongraphiccentre, @jacksons_art and I sometimes order direct from suppliers like @jamescropperpaper @gfsmithpapers and @fedrigoni_uk 🔥
I like to use a range of textures in my pieces, so will often mix between smoother standard coloured stocks and more textural pastel papers, which really helps to add variety and that nice handmade feel 🙌
As for colour selection, sometimes my pieces are planned out quite meticulously – drawing everything up first in Illustrator and applying palettes before finding the right papers. Other times I’ll pick out colours by eye, delving into my archive of paper sheets, to find tones which compliment or work in nice sweeping gradients – as in this video, which is the approach for my ongoing series ‘The Sublime Spectrum’ 🌈
But wherever you get your stock from and whatever you decide to do with it, remember that the most important thing is to have a play and work out what’s right for you and your craft! 💫

Partendo dalla stessa fustella abbiamo realizzato tante card diverse semplicemente cambiando
colori, carte e piccoli dettagli…
e adesso non saprei proprio quale scegliere!! 😅
È sempre bellissimo vedere come lo stesso elemento possa trasformarsi completamente: sembra quasi un altro bouquet ogni volta, a seconda di come lo usiamo. Non trovate?
La fustella è terminata ma ordinabile fino a domani mattina, così possiamo inserirla nel prossimo ordine delle novità.
