Day 5 of follower breakdowns.
This college player has a swing that I absolutely love. So many great mechanical moves going on.
He did say that he was only in the mid 90s in exit velo.
Now, I don’t talk exit velo much, but a college player with this sound of a mechanical swing should be hitting balls harder.
I noticed that right before contact he seems to slightly slow down his rotation which leads the arms/hands to be making contact, not the body as a whole rotating into the ball.
To me, this seems like a very slight ounce of mental hesitation.
I told him to take wiffle ball swings as hard as he can and unlock his natural athleticism in the swing.

COSwing 1 or swing 2? I think they have their own rhythm but which one do you prefer? Swing one has a little bit of a scap load pull back to clean elbow slot but swing two has the hands up to straight down feel. I have my choice but what do you think ? #baseball #hitting #baseballswing
