WAThis is a popular tradition on Disney Cruises where you leave small gifts for other guests - aka “pixie dusting” them 🧚🏻✨
Here are some things to note about pixie dusting:
• It is completely optional (but I recommend it because it was super fun exchanging gifts with people from all over the world 😍)
• You can attach a note with your gifts and include your stateroom number so people can return the gesture if they want to (you can even indicate your country!)
• Please do not take things from other guest’s fish extenders unless they indicate that you can. This is usually shown through a note outside their door (eg. “Please take one”). Otherwise, the gifts in the fish extenders are meant for the guests staying in that room.
• Bring extra gifts in case you want to pixie dust more rooms!

One of the most fun traditions on a Disney Cruise Line cruise is decorating your stateroom door!
Guests use magnets, name signs, and cute designs to make their doors stand out. The doors are metal, so everything sticks easily.
We loved decorating our door as a family. It became a fun little bonding moment for us, and it made our door feel extra special every time we came back 🤍
Tip: You can hang a fish extender, bag, or small box outside your door so that other guests can leave treats. You can also leave paper and markers so kids can write cute messages 🤍
Another fun tradition is Pixie Dusting ✨
This is when guests prepare small treats like stickers, candies, or little toys, and leave them in hanging bags (called “fish extenders”) outside other cabins to spread a little magic.
Sarina was always so excited to come back to our room because there were little surprises and sweet messages waiting for her almost every time.
Tip: If you don’t have time to go around the ship, you can leave a basket or bag outside your door with your giveaways. Just add a small sign like: “Please take one”
