ECI printed a pistachio bowl from recycled filament (PLA + bottle plastic).
The shell holds the pistachios, and the center compartment is where the empty shells go.
Snack → drop → repeat.
My first project on the @josefprusa Core One 🙌

PEThis is a major confrontation caught on camera right now in the South China Sea.
Filipino fishermen were fishing in their own waters. Waters that an international tribunal confirmed belong to the Philippines in 2016.
China’s response? A PLA Navy warship, 6 Coast Guard vessels, and 20 maritime militia boats deployed to Scarborough Shoal. Against fishing boats.
They lost the legal ruling and showed up with a military fleet instead.
It’s part of a much bigger pattern. China operates over 17,000 fishing vessels illegally across 90+ countries, shredding coral reefs, gutting marine ecosystems, and running fleets tied to forced labor and human rights violations. Not a one-off. It’s been happening for years and it’s getting worse.
The world is watching this happen in real time and barely talking about it.

Un día, al abrir un rollo nuevo de filamento 3D, me di cuenta de algo:
Siempre tiramos estas bolsitas sin pensarlo. ❌

🧪 ¿Para qué sirven en realidad?
Estas bolsitas contienen sílica gel, diseñada para:
✔️ Absorber humedad
✔️ Proteger productos durante el almacenamiento
✔️ Evitar que se arruinen filamentos, zapatillas y muebles

🔄 La idea
¿Y si en vez de tirarlas… las reutilizamos para combatir la humedad del ambiente?

⚠️ El problema oculto
La sílica usada ya está saturada.
Si la colgás así nomás, no absorbe nada.

🔥 La solución maker
La sílica se puede secar y recuperar su poder.
Para que funcione bien, imprimí un contenedor 3D que permite una buena circulación de aire. 🖨️
