• Compared to many other MBA colleges, you’ll most likely get placed faster and at a better package in most cases. • Even if it’s not your dream job, you still start your career from a very strong position. Not everyone gets their dream role—and that’s okay, because many roles still offer strong learning & growth. • Your college takes responsibility—institutes like Indian Institute of Management Mumbai ensure 100% placements, so you’re not left on your own. • You’re surrounded by driven peers—this environment itself pushes your growth to another level. • The “average package” looks high—but in-hand salary is lower, so always look beyond the headline numbers. • It’s not just about talent—companies hire for “fit”, which includes mindset, communication, and role alignment. • Yes, luck plays a role—but consistent effort increases your chances over time. • You might face rejections even after good interviews—but every interview improves your clarity and confidence. • Sometimes unexpected questions come up—but they actually test thinking ability, not just preparation. • The process can feel unpredictable—but that’s because multiple factors (panel, role, requirements) come into play. • Shortlisting is competitive—but it pushes you to build a stronger, more well-rounded profile. • Peer pressure is real—but it also creates an environment of learning, resilience, and growth. • You may not start with your “perfect” job—but career paths evolve quickly post-MBA. • The process is hectic—but it teaches time management, handling pressure, and adaptability. #iim #cat #placements #reality #mba

The JEE results flashed on my screen. My stomach dropped. 🧵 Tier 2 college. I knew the road ahead wasn’t easy. I showed up anyway. And in those cramped hostel rooms, something unexpected happened. I fell in love with Computer Science. 💻 Not because I had to. Because it was the one thing that made sense to me. Internship season arrived and humbled me fast. Amazon shortlisted me. Then dropped me. Microsoft interviewed me. Then dropped me. Goldman Sachs. Same story. I wasn’t ready and I knew it. So I stopped making excuses and started making reps. 500+ LeetCode problems. Not for a certificate. Not for clout. Because I had something to prove, mostly to myself. By the time my final year came around, I walked into that Google interview being a completely different person. Calmer. Sharper. Certain. The offer came. Google. My dream!!! I thought I had reached the ceiling. But 3 years later I found myself on a flight to London, walking into the Meta office, signing an offer worth ₹1.7 Crore. 🇬🇧 No IIT stamp. No silver spoon. No shortcuts. Just a kid from a tier 2 college who decided that the world’s opinion of him was none of his business. Comment ‘Resource’ below and I’ll drop the exact resources, study plan and timeline I followed to go from 0 internships to Google / Meta London. . . . #techjourney #placements #dreamjob #codinglife #computerscience

⬇️ Refer to the Caption below What I wish someone told me before placements: 1. Always check the designation before joining. Don’t just look at the company name. Understand the role, CTC breakup, bond terms, and growth scope clearly. 2. Don’t depend only on college placements. Explore off-campus opportunities as well. Sometimes the best roles are outside your campus. 3. Start internships as early as possible. Today, even freshers are expected to have some experience. Exposure matters more than marks. 4. Stop making clone projects. Build something around a real, practical problem. Deploy it. Make it live. That’s what stands out. 5. Don’t confuse yourself with too many skills. Pick one language for DSA. Choose one domain — Web Development or Machine Learning. Go deep instead of going everywhere. Bonus — Communication is not optional. Technical skills get you shortlisted. Communication gets you selected. Placements are not about doing everything. They’re about doing the right things consistently. If you’re entering your placement phase, prepare smart — not randomly. 1. I stopped just “learning” and started building Projects > courses. I focused on 2–3 solid projects and could explain every decision in depth. 2. DSA consistency over intensity Not 10 hours one day, 0 the next. Even 2–3 questions daily built real confidence for interviews. 3. I learned how to talk about my work Most people build projects but can’t explain them. I practiced explaining like I’m teaching → this changed everything. 4. I applied smart, not everywhere Instead of mass applying, I focused on roles I actually fit + tailored my resume. 5. I fixed my resume to be result-focused Not “built a website” → “built X feature that improved Y / solved Z” . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
