I ONLY SAW MY ABS WHEN I STOPPED PLANKING👇🏾 3 REASONS WHY I DONT LIKE PLANKS 🚩 ILLOGICAL When training your bicep muscle, you expand and contract the muscle under resistance, and you rep it out until your muscle can’t complete any more reps. Your abs grow the same way but people choose to “feel the burn” and do planks instead 🚩 INEFFICIENT Planks take a while. You are just waiting for your muscles to give out which can take minutes in the gym. While doing a set of weighted crunches could take 30 seconds to do 8 reps and hit failure, holding a plank for 2 mins takes up more time than you need 🚩 “FEELING THE BURN” When you’re doing planks you’re likely to give out before your abs hit failure due to “feeling the burn” there is no direct correlation to muscle growth and how bad it burns, meaning that feeling the burn has no affect on muscle growth. SOLUTION 🧩 🔑 WEIGHTED CRUNCES or HANGING LEG RAISES These exercises actually expand and contract the abs for reps. Allowing you to hit failure efficiently and precisely.
