Fresh eggs hold their shape better and give you that dreamy, café-style white wrapped perfectly around a jammy yolk.
Here’s what I do:
• Bring water to a gentle simmer (not a rolling boil)
• Add a splash of vinegar
• Create a swirl with a spoon
• Drop the egg(s) right into the center
• Cook 3–4 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon.
That’s it. No fancy gadgets. No stress. Now you’re ready for brunch.
