Last February I shared a story of my injured shoulder that could no longer do what it used to (and my goal before injury was to do a deadlift into Ayesha). At that time I decided to let go of all my memories of what that shoulder could do before the injury, and start from scratch - from conditioning. And today I’m sharing 3 exercises I was doing for the past 3 months now, because I can see a tremendous progress. Honestly, I wasn’t even doing them very often, maybe once a week, but now that I’m seeing such a difference, I’m doing them on my every workout (which is about twice a week). These exercises I found on @mypolespace and honestly if you speak Russian, that’s the best resource for finding all sorts of great exercises and tutorials, but for my English speaking pole friends, I made this video and I hope you find it helpful. Give these exercises a try too and let me know what you think and experience. And if you have any questions or struggles too, I’m here to help ❤️ And please give yourself time, these are not meant to be easy, they look way easier than they are and it takes a while to train this type of hang, so be patient and listen to your body. #pole #polesport #polefit #polefitness #poleconditioning #poletutorials

💪Working on your invert to chopper? 💪 These exercises will help!!! 💥Pole Tucks💥 working your shoulders, arms, core & hip flexors! Imagine you are pulling the pole out of the ceiling to engage your upper body, tuck your knees up to your chest & lower with control x 5-10 reps each side! 💥Straddle leg lifts💥 as above but harder, this is a great one for working your hip flexors, quads & hamstrings too, perfect for achieving your straight leg invert 5-10 reps each side! 💥Laying leg raises💥 This is a wonderful anti extension core exercise that will have those abs a poppin’! Make sure you engage your core & tuck your pelvis under to avoid arching in your lower back. 30 secs x 2-3 sets! 💥Cross Ankle Rows💥 A strong horizontal pull is essential for nailing our invert. Start laying on the floor with your legs in a cross ankle position on the pole. Hold the pole with both hands similar to an invert position. Engage your upper body and crunch up lifting your back off the floor. Even if you can’t lift your upper body yet you will still feel the engagement and will get stronger each time you try! 5-10 reps each side!! 💥Seated leg lifts💥 Eewww these are pretty gross but work wonders in achieving those dream leg lines. Start seated in a comfortable straddle position with both bum cheeks on the floor and a tall spine. Place the hands on the ground in front of you. Engage your hip flexors and lift your legs up, lower & repeat. Make sure you squeeze your quads & point your toes to create beautiful leg lines! 5-10 reps. 💥 Seated Pole Pull ups with leg lift💥 As well as a horizontal pull, we also need a strong vertical pull to help us achieve our invert. These are great for targeting your upper body with the added bonus of working your legs & hip flexors too! 5-10 reps each side! 💥Floor choppers💥 I love these ones, plus you get the added bonus of having a little lie down on the floor! 5-10 reps each side, slow & controlled movement, focusing on engagement! #poledancer #polefitness #polesport #pole #polefit #fitnessmotivation #poleworkout #polelife #polelove #poleconditioning #poledance #polestrong #polefitnessvideos #polepassion
