Пока это приносит мне немного радости.
Открытки и марки я никогда не собирала, даже в детстве. Но тут как-то меня увлекло.
В чем суть:
Вы отправляете открытки незнакомцам; можете подписывать их теплыми словами, выбирать картинки, которые могут порадовать.
Это моя третья открытка.
У каждой есть свой код, его потом регистрировать нужно сайте. На сайте же получаешь адреса, куда нужно отправить открытку. У каждого участника сообщества своя страница. Там пишешь что-то о себе и своих увлечениях. Я вот, например, написала, что люблю картинки с детскими и примитивными рисунками, странными персонажами, сказками и т.д.
Непривычно писать что-то от руки и ждать открытки в почтовом ящике — обычно там только счета.
первая моя открытка ушла в Тайвань: девушка любит животных. На мой открытке была панда.
вторая — в Восточную Германию
а третья в США. Получательница писала, что она яростный противник войны и поддерживает горячо и русских, и украинцев. Писала, что она христианка, поэтому я выбрала ей вот такую открытку. #amor

I’ll start: I’m Carina, 28 years old, from Norway. I love swimming in the ocean, prefer tea over coffee, and my favourite music genre is sad love songs with beautiful melodies. If I could get away with one crime, I’d be tempted to do a Robin Hood, although something in the spirit of The Thomas Crown Affair would be cool too: steal a highly priced and protected object just to prove I can, then put it back.

KAI started this Instagram account years back as a means to keep track of my Postcrossing journey.
It quickly evolved into something so much more than that. I was swapping postcards, participating in multiple projects, engaged in over 200 chaincards at one point even!! The best thing was meeting so many wonderful friends along the way!
I later also started tracking my penpal letters just because it helps me recall the stamps I've used, just so I can use different stamps on my next letter.
Because of @kayemails, I am able to create a small community and have met so many gorgeous, wonderful, like-minded penpals, postcard pals, friends, etc... Whatever the correct terminology is. What I treasure the most is the amazing friendships. I value and hold every single close to my heart.
