OKHe began acting as a child when he was cast as Wicket the Ewok in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, a role that instantly embedded him in cinema history, and he went on to headline Willow (1988) as the courageous and kind-hearted Willow Ufgood, one of the rare fantasy films to place a little person at the center of an epic hero’s journey.
Rather than being confined to novelty roles, Davis built a remarkably varied career, from the darkly comic title character in the Leprechaun horror series to multiple parts in the Harry Potter films, where he memorably portrayed both Professor Flitwick and the goblin Griphook.
