I am writing this message to express my deep concern regarding the safety of the artist Kim Taehyung (V), especially in light of the upcoming BTS shows and public activities.
In recent days, alarming content has been circulating on social media involving a person publicly identified as Lupe Sin Filtros, of Mexican nationality, who has allegedly made explicit threats of violence, including mentions of using acid against the artist, as well as encouraging others to commit similar acts during future events.
This is an extremely serious matter that has been widely discussed and has generated fear and insecurity among fans around the world. Even if these statements were made in an online environment, they cannot be ignored, as they represent a real risk to Kim Taehyung’s physical and emotional well-being.
In light of this, I respectfully request that HYBE:
Formally acknowledge these publicly shared threats;
Assess the situation together with legal and security teams;
Strengthen protective measures for the artist during concerts, travel, and public appearances;
Act preventively to ensure that Kim Taehyung can carry out his work safely.
The absolute priority must be the protection of the artists’ lives and well-being. As a fan, my request comes from care, respect, and trust that HYBE takes any sign of threat seriously.
Thank you in advance for your attention. I sincerely hope that appropriate measures will be taken to ensure Kim Taehyung’s safety.
