EKStop memorizing M1R & M1L!
Here’s a EASIEST raglan increase method that I use a lot:
RULE:
Pick up the leg closest to the raglan stitches
(the leg from the row below that sits right next to your raglan line)
Step by step:
1. Knit until you reach your stitch marker
2. Before the raglan (right side):
Lift the left leg from the row below that is closest to the raglan stitches
→ knit it
✔️ this creates a natural right-leaning increase
3. Slip marker
Work your raglan stitches
(I purl mine, but follow whatever pattern you’re using)

4. After the raglan (left side):
Before knitting the next stitch, lift the right leg from the row below that is closest to the raglan stitches
→ knit it
✔️ this creates a natural left-leaning increase
In this way, no memorizing needed; your hands will just know♡
