ER🤍 watching @remibader open up about the challenging body image time she’s going through despite being a absolute FORCE cracked my heart open.
None of us are immune to the influence of beauty standards.
And while I don’t believe all beauty, self care, fashion etc is out to get us (in fact some is super fun and a way to self express) I do know we have to be very conscious, grounded and connected to self to maintain a healthy relationship with it.
Someone in our community mentioned that it’s almost like women are developing body dysmorphia of the face as we view more and more filtered images and touched up looks.
Keep checking in with yourself, stay critical of media, regulate those nervous systems and stay true to you 🤍
