There are a number of work opportunities that have opened up in the UAE… which you can do remotely from your home as an independent consultant… I’ll tell you what these are, and how you can get them… So, the UAE has a D33 Economic Agenda by which they want to position themselves as the most futuristic place in the world by 2033… Under this the Dubai Future Foundation is looking for global researchers, independent consultants, subject matter experts, innovators, creators… They have rolled out a Verified Contributor Program by which any person any where in the world who thinks they can contribute to this vision… No age requirement… No nationality bars… No location bars… No educational bar… You could contribute in health, wellness, tech, finance, research, AI, anything of value… You could be anywhere in the world and apply for this, as it is a consulting gig, and the selection and remuneration depends on which project you’re selected for. To apply, you must send: 1/ Professional Resume 2/ Details of your work experience 3/ Proof of Expertise which includes any awards, research papers or anything notable that you have done 4/ Letter of Contribution that explains how you can contribute to the future of the UAE Send this application to verifiedcontributors@dubaifuture.gov.ae It will help if you read the D33 Economic Agenda and the website of the Dubai Future Foundation to make your application aligned to their vision. #casarthakahuja

Working remotely, earning in USD while living in India felt like freedom at first, but after 6 years, here are my brutally honest thoughts. 🧠 It is not for everyone. If you cannot be disciplined, remote work will break you. Managing time zones and delivering without a boss watching you is non-negotiable. Get this wrong and you can lose your job. 🛠 Tools like Google Suite, MS Office, Slack, Miro may seem basic, but mastering async work through them changed how I performed. These tools only work when stacked on top of strong core skills. 🌱 I finally realised I could have a life outside work. Hobbies, friendships, family, an identity beyond deadlines. I did not even know I was missing this earlier. 📚 Upskilling becomes your responsibility. You do not really know where you stand when interactions are limited to agenda-driven calls. You have to stay sharp on your own. 💰 Remote jobs are not a get rich quick scheme. The work is real, sometimes harder than office jobs, just without the noise. 🎯 Cracking remote work requires strategy and focus. You must present yourself in a way that makes someone trust you without ever meeting you in person. 🤝 You have to build your own community. There are no lunch breaks or after-work plans with colleagues unless you create that space yourself. 🌍 Remote work opened global doors for me that would have been impossible otherwise. Denmark, Australia, the USA, and more. ✨ I have a lot more to share. Follow me @shreyamahendru_ to learn from my real experiences with remote jobs, side hustles, and high-value freelancing.

Empathic listening roles are real, and many people do them remotely using their phone 👇 You support people through difficult moments by listening, validating, and being present. You’ll often see these roles listed as: • Empathic Listening • Crisis Counselor • Support Specialist • Peer Support You can find them on platforms like Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or SimplyHired, especially in mental health spaces. Some people also offer listening services on platforms like Fiverr or Upwork. But here’s the part not talked about enough 🙊 This kind of work can be mentally and emotionally draining, especially if you already give a lot of yourself (hello, fellow nurses 👩‍⚕️). ✅✅That’s why I chose a different path.✅✅ Instead of absorbing emotions all day, I invested in myself and started building an online income stream that gives me: ✔ control over my time ✔ more mental breathing room ✔ the ability to work from different places ✔ space to care for myself and my family ✨ No big following needed ✨ No product to create ✨ No sales calls ✨ No bugging friends or family ✨ No business background or degree I started learning this while working day and night shifts as a nurse. And the best part? It’s scalable 🚀 If you want to explore what could work best for you, you’re in the right place. 🤍 Follow @successwithminori I share my experience, my real online business journey, different options, and what I’m learning along the way. And if you’re curious about how I started building income online, feel free to DM me and ask 😉 Available only in 🇺🇸🇨🇦🇬🇧🇦🇺🇩🇪🇪🇺 Disclaimer: Everyone’s results are different and depend on effort and consistency. Companies Hiring After a Career Break — Remotely (Recruiter POV) If you’ve taken a career break for motherhood, health, relocation, or upskilling — this is for you. Career breaks are not red flags in remote hiring. What matters is how you position yourself and where you apply. Here are remote-friendly companies that actively hire professionals after a break 👇 • GitLab – Remote-first culture, async work, strong returnship mindset 👉 https://about.gitlab.com/jobs/ • Shopify – Outcome-based work, flexible schedules, global remote roles 👉 https://www.shopify.com/careers • HubSpot – Values life experience and non-linear careers 👉 https://www.hubspot.com/careers • Amazon (Remote Ops & Support roles) – Structured re-entry & WFH roles 👉 https://www.amazon.jobs/en/locations/virtual-locations • ThoughtWorks – Known for career-restart and returnship programs 👉 https://www.thoughtworks.com/careers • Dell Technologies – Global remote & hybrid return-to-work roles 👉 https://jobs.dell.com/ • TCS / Accenture (Returnship programs) – Career re-entry support 👉 https://www.tcs.com/careers 👉 https://www.accenture.com/careers • Upwork / Turing – Skill-based remote opportunities, gap-friendly 👉 https://www.upwork.com/jobs 👉 https://www.turing.com/jobs Recruiter truth 👇 Career gaps don’t reject you. Poor resume positioning does. If you’re returning after a break, your resume must: ✔ Show outcomes, not timelines ✔ Clearly mention “Open to Remote” ✔ Highlight tools, async work, and ownership ✔ Address the break confidently (no apologies) 📌 Save this for later 📌 Follow for recruiter POV remote job content #CareerBreak #RemoteJobs #ReturnToWork #WomenAtWork #MomsBackToWork #RemoteHiring #CareerRestart #WorkFromHomeJobs #HiringTips #CareerGuidance

🧑‍💻 Working Remotely vs. from the Office - my take after trying out both of them for years. Although many people prefer “remote”, there are some benefits of working from an office: - interacting with other developers more naturally - not cluttering your home with a desk setup - free coffee 😂 And I’d recommend “working from the office” in these 2 situations: 1. You’re a junior, still having a lot to learn. In this case, talking “live” to other developers and doing “pair programming” is much more efficient for your learning process. 2. You have a leadership role with many meetings that you could hold “in person”. Video calls are okay, but real discussions feel different and can be much more clear and effective. Bonus: when interviewing people it’s nice to do that live, you get to know the person better. Generally, I love working remotely 🧑‍💻 and I won’t list all the benefits, because it’s a long list, I’ll write one and you can comment below with others: - being close to the fridge and all your food, at all times 😂 Ok, I’m joking, but being able to do some house work while waiting for a meeting, or when you take a break, that’s really helpful. - also, being able to randomly work from a coffee shop or even from another country 🇬🇧 💬 What’s your favorite benefit or working remotely, or from the office, wherever you’re working from? #programming #coding #peoplewhocode #developerlife #softwaredevelopment

Have a little faith 💗 If we haven’t met, heyy I’m Naailah. I’m a self-employed social-media marketing manager who works completely remotely - which means I can work from anywhere in the world 🌍  I basically work in the background for other businesses and help build their social media! businesses I work for include, fashion brands, toy companies, apps and mental heath businesses. After building my own business, I’ve created a programme to teach others how to do the same - build a marketing business where you help other brands grow on social media and get paid for it! Whether you want to work from home, travel while you work, or just build more freedom into your life, I can show you exactly how to do it If you’ve ever wanted to become a social-media marketer or start your own online business, this is your sign to apply (I only take on a small number of students per month) 💌 Comment “INFO” and i will send you more details
