As you probably have guessed already, this isn’t your traditional school ya’ll!
Here is what makes Freedom Schools different:
At Freedom Schools we don’t have to sit still in our seats. We can read sitting down, laying down (or even upside down 🙃), as long as we’re engaged in the text.
At Freedom Schools we don’t have to raise our hands 🤚🏽 Instead we learn how to “step up and step back” during discussions.
At Freedom Schools there aren’t any rules. Instead, each class comes together to create a Cooperation Contract of agreements that ensures safety, respect, and fun during our time together. And yes, the adults must follow them too! 🤓
At Freedom Schools there is no difference between the Servant Leader Interns & the Scholars. We are all one. We read together. We learn together. We work together. 🫱🏾🫲🏼
