COAdvert RizRaz – We recently revisited RizRaz Restaurant in central Copenhagen to try their 7-course Middelhavsbrunch (Mediterranean brunch) — a build-your-own brunch experience with a wide range of flavours and styles.
RizRaz has been welcoming guests since 1989, and their brunch concept is both flexible and inviting. You can choose 3, 5, or 7 dishes — whether you're into vegetarian, vegan, meat or fish options, there’s something for everyone.
We went for the full 7-course brunch, which gave us a great variety to taste. Some dishes leaned into Mediterranean flavours — like shakshuka, crispy halloumi with mango chutney, and fatteh with chickpeas and pita chips — while others brought a more classic or Nordic touch, like yoghurt with berry compote, avocado sourdough toast, beef croquettes with dijon mayo, and French toast with vanilla.
The indoor dining room was full when we arrived, so we headed to the courtyard, which turned out to be a calm and cozy hideaway. Even with summer rain falling, we stayed dry and warm under cover — and enjoyed the peaceful sound of the rain in the background.
RizRaz also offers à la carte and buffet dining, but this brunch menu is a great option for anyone wanting to try several small plates in one sitting. Available every day of the week, and easy to tailor to your taste.

TIP: Just a short walk from Nørreport Station. If it’s busy inside, don’t hesitate to sit in the courtyard — it’s a little oasis in the city.
