Anyways, today I was just updating you on some growth. Mainly for the Ficus Robusta and the Ficus Ruby.

The growth on my robusta is crazy ridiculous and turned out way better than I expected. Typically I’ll get 2 or 3 new branches so to get more than 10 is just 🤯 mind blowing and I couldn’t be happier 😊

And my Ruby is RUBYING all over the place 😂💕 this east facing sun really brings out the colors 😊

HIWho else loves rubber trees?
Ficuses are my huge favorites! They have beautiful glossy foliage and the variegated ones have leaves that look like a work of art.
I currently have five varieties of ficus elastica: burgundy, robusta, ruby, tineke, and golden gem. And I love all of them!
My care tips for them are as follows:
💦 Water only when the soil is dry and when the pot is very light. They don't like soggy soil.
🪴 Put them in a well-draining potting mix and make sure the pot has holes. My mix includes the usual potting soil, orchid bark, and perlite.
🌞 Place them in an area with a lot of bright indirect light. They won't do well in medium or low light conditions.
🍃 Clean the leaves when dirt and dust accumulates for them to photosenthesize better. It's also a great way to check for and control pests. Mine never have any pest issues. Maybe they are more pest-resistant than other plants.
🌿 Fertilize them during growing season. I sometimes water my rubber trees with banana peel tea.

DAHave you ever tried lingonberry?
The Peak District is aflush with these crimson red berries at the moment - I’ve been braving the winds (for short bursts 😄) and am rewarded with a few small but precious handfuls of tart treats each time.
In their moorland habitat, cowberries (vaccinium vitis-idaea) could be confused with bearberry (arctostaphylos uva-ursi) though bearberries tend to be squatter and have a bland taste, but they are edible too.
I’m saving all my handfuls up and adding to a jar of water that’s being stored in the basement until I decide what I’ll do with them, but I think they’ll be an awesome accompaniment to the pheasant that’s in the freezer.

Nos conseils d'entretien 👇
☀Placez-le dans un espace lumineux, mais évitez le soleil direct pour ne pas brûler ses feuilles. Une lumière indirecte filtrée est idéale
💧Laissez sécher le terreau entre les arrosages. En hiver, arrosez modérément (environ tous les 10 jours). Assurez un bon drainage pour éviter l'excès d'eau qui peut provoquer la pourriture des racines
🌫️ Cette plante préfère un environnement légèrement humide. Vaporisez ses feuilles régulièrement, surtout en hiver si l'air est sec
🌿 Nettoyez ses feuilles avec un chiffon humide pour éliminer la poussière et favoriser la photosynthèse. Ajoutez un engrais équilibré une fois par mois en période de croissance (printemps et été)
🌡️Température : Le ficus se plaît dans une plage de 15 à 25 °C. Évitez les courants d'air et les écarts de température
‼️ATTENTION : Cette plante est également toxique, donc tenez-la éloignée des animaux et des enfants.
