I’m not going to lie as nail techs, we don’t have all the answers. In school, we’re taught how to handle certain situations, but every once in a while something happens that truly makes you stop and question yourself.
When I saw this, my first thought was: What should I do?!
Honestly, I was stunned 😭 however I carefully removed what was already lifted, proceeded to advise her to see a doctor and that was it I was genuinely nervous to touch anything else.

LIstruggling with polish application? try this..
make sure you’re working on a clean, lint and dust free surface. using lint free wipes with alcohol or acetone after your client washes is a great habit to create to ensure your surface is squeaky clean.
wipe all of the product onto one side of the brush closest to the tip as possible.
if you’re nervous about flooding the cuticle start polishing lower in the center of the nail and using a liner brush to follow the cuticle and get as close as possible. keep acetone and a cleanup brush handy just in case.
last but not least ensure you’re using quality polishes, not all polishes are equal and some are harder to work with. some polishes come thicker and some come thinner, test different products to find what works best for you 😘
