Set among the stunning surrounds of what was once the library of the historic Old War Office, lunch at Saison was the perfect antidote to a grey day in London. ~ The menu features delicious Mediterranean-style food courtesy of renowned Chef Mauro Colagreco. My personal favourite was the rack of West Country Lamb served with an extremely more-ish pumpkin gnocchi. Of course the giant portion of tiramisu went down a treat as well! ~ I absolutely love this light-filled restaurant with its spring-like interiors and beautifully restored historic glass ceiling. A Sunday lunch at Saison @raffleslondon.theowo was definitely top 3 of my favourite meals so far this year ✨ This stunning cosy orangery in the heart of the Raffles hotel is home to @maurocolagreco ‘s Saison, a refined Mediterranean all day restaurant with an impeccable menu and equally fantastic service. I went on a Sunday to experience their weekend lunch, and can comfortably say, this is definitely a brilliant time to book there. A super relaxed atmosphere to enjoy amazing dishes like the Sea bream carpaccio, White asparagus with grapefruit vinaigrette, green apple and fresh herbs; Can’t miss the Lobster bolognese, and beautiful Halibut, artichoke mouselline with capers, olives, citrus beurre blanc; Or if you’re feeling in the mood for a typical Sunday lunch, the Sunday specials are perfect for that too.
