Yoga becomes somatic when you tune in instead of pushing poses. That awareness helps regulate your nervous system, calm overwhelm, and carry a little more ease into your day. Crying in class? Totally normal. You don’t need tears to feel the benefits though…just presence in your body and mind. IS yoga done as exercise for fitness results and ego-driven reasons? Yes. Is it meant to be?
