The second of two new Sugar Cane Jean styles to arrive in store is this 2025 model. The 2025 takes inspiration from pre-war waist overalls but incorporates a few modern design tweaks. The wide leg, high rise, and original rivet placement remain - including hidden rear rivets and the increasingly rare crotch rivet. The cinch back belt and suspender buttons have been removed to create a more modern and streamlined look overall. This gets you a clean, minimal jean cut from Sugar Cane’s 13oz “Standard” selvedge denim: slightly slubby, deep indigo, and built to capture the texture and character of vintage workwear. It’s an all-year denim, but that lighter weight and wider leg make this an excellent choice for those on the hunt for a breezier option for the warmer months to come.
