🍺 Something special is pouring from the back bar at The Hive this weekend! 🍻 Our new in-house brewery, @setbreakbrewing, teamed up with our friends at @ardentcraftales to create a collaboration beer for the Scott’s Addition Collab Crawl happening this Saturday from 1 to 9 PM. Head Brewer Rob from Setbreak Brewing and Head Brewer Tasha from Ardent Craft Ales joined forces to brew: 🔥 Legend Has It is a 7% West Coast IPA built for hop lovers. Crisp, bright, and bold, it’s exactly what you want in a classic West Coast IPA. Get a behind the scenes look at Rob and Tasha in action during the brewing process, from the collaboration brew day to the beer coming together. Here’s where it gets fun: • Ardent Craft Ales will be pouring the dry hopped version • Setbreak Brewing, pouring out of the back bar at Black Heath Meadery, will have the double dry hopped version Same base beer. THIS SATURDAY FEB 7th 3-5PM Dark Beer Bottle Share - A Collaboration with Sunriver Brewing. What’s a bottle share? It’s a social gathering where craft beer enthusiasts bring unique, rare, or favorite beers to open and share samples with friends. It allows you to try lots of different, diverse, sometimes more expensive, hard-to-find brews without committing to a whole bottle What to bring? In this case, it’s a dark beer bottle share, so we are encouraging everyone to bring a stout, porter, barleywine, cda or barrel-aged beer to contribute to the communal tasting pool. These should be beers that are “special” in some way - for example, sourced out of state and not distributed here, cellared for a while, a hard to find beer What NOT to bring? This is not the time to pick up a random beer from the corner gas station Other info: -Limit your pours to 1-2oz so everyone gets a chance to try the beers. -Let the person who brought the beer open it. -Don’t forget to drink water in between as a palette cleanse between tastes (and to offset the fact that some of the beers are very high in ABV) THANK YOU to Richard from Recluse brewing for some awesome contributions to get the party started.
