YUToday felt different. And I realized why. 🌸
For Women’s Day, Lovable and Anthropic launched the #SheBuilds initiative.
• Lovable gave 24 hours of unlimited usage
• Anthropic gave $100 in API credits
Just like that.
When I saw it, I told myself:
“Don’t just claim it. Actually use it.”
So I did.
For months, I had a list of ideas sitting in my notes, prototypes I wanted to build, technologies I wanted to explore, experiments I kept pushing to “some other day.”
This initiative gave me the push.
In 24 hours I:
• Explored areas I had been curious about for a long time
• Built multiple prototypes I had been postponing
• Pushed myself to experiment and ship
And it reminded me of something important:
This might be the best time to live as an engineer
The tools are powerful.
The community is generous.
And when opportunities like #SheBuild lower the barriers, people create incredible things.
