Not every panic attack looks dramatic. Sometimes it looks like silence… and survival happening at the same time. What it feels like: A panic attack is sudden and intense — racing heart, shortness of breath, dizziness, trembling, chest tightness. It feels like losing control or dying, even when you’re physically safe. An anxiety attack builds gradually — excessive worry, restlessness, muscle tension, overthinking, irritability. It feels like your mind won’t switch off. Psychological insight: Both are linked to an overactivated fight-or-flight response. Your nervous system detects threat — even when there isn’t one. The amygdala signals danger, cortisol rises, and your body prepares to survive. It’s not weakness. It’s a dysregulated stress response. What it looks like externally: • Someone going quiet • Sudden withdrawal from conversations • Rapid breathing or fidgeting • Avoidance behaviors • Tearfulness or irritability What to do in the moment: 1. Label it: “This is anxiety. I am safe.” 2. Practice slow breathing (4-4-6 method). 3. Ground yourself using the 5-4-3-2-1 technique. 4. Relax your jaw and shoulders intentionally. 5. Let the wave peak and pass — don’t fight it. To reduce frequency long-term: • Improve sleep hygiene • Limit caffeine intake • Regular physical movement • Journaling triggers • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques • Professional psychological support when needed You are not “too sensitive.” You are overstimulated — and your nervous system can learn safety again. Normally, your heart’s rhythm is controlled by electrical signals that follow a regular path. In SVT, a “short circuit” forms in the electrical system, causing the heart to beat very quickly and regularly. ⸻ ⚠️ Common symptoms • Sudden rapid heartbeat (palpitations) • Chest discomfort • Dizziness or lightheadedness • Shortness of breath • Anxiety • Fainting (in severe cases) Episodes can last from a few seconds to several hours. ⸻ 🔍 Causes SVT can occur in otherwise healthy people, but possible triggers include: • Stress or anxiety • Caffeine or alcohol • Smoking • Certain medications • Heart disease or structural abnormalities A common specific type is AVNRT (Atrioventricular Nodal Reentrant Tachycardia). #tachycardia #doctorlife #neetpg #lifesayings #mbbsstudents

Did you know that 70% of homes/office buildings in the U.S. have mold? Three years ago, in our brand new home that we JUST bought, I got so sick I could barely function after only 1 week. Facial swelling. Brain fog. Anxiety. Air hunger/shortness of breath. Hair loss. Inflammation that made zero sense. It took 4 inspectors before someone finally found the mold. Here’s what mold exposure can look like: • Chronic fatigue • Brain fog / ADHD symptoms • Anxiety or depression • Histamine issues • Sinus congestion • Hormone disruption • Hair loss • Weight resistance • Yeast overgrowth • Rashes / joint pain And I see this all the time — The wife is symptomatic. The husband feels fine. Women tend to have more reactive immune systems and hormonal shifts that amplify inflammation. Same house. Different response. Trust your gut. If your body is reacting in your home, listen. Full circle: Because of our experience, we started a mold inspection company that does it right. Over the last 6 months, Chapman (my husband) has helped so many families get real answers. Website launches next week 🥹 If you want to test your body for mold, comment “ROOT” to book a 360 root cause analysis with me. If you’re in Tennessee and want to investigate your home, comment “WELL HOME” to get more information. . . . . #moldillness #cirs #mold #nashvilletn #fyp

COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) is a long-term lung disease where airflow to the lungs becomes blocked, making it difficult to breathe. Common symptoms: • Shortness of breath (especially during activity) • Wheezing sound while breathing • Chronic cough with mucus • Chest tightness • Getting tired very easily Main causes: 🚬 Long-term smoking (most common) 🔥 Air pollution and dust exposure 🏭 Occupational fumes or chemicals 🧬 Genetic factors (rare cases) Why wheezing happens? In COPD, the airways become inflamed and narrowed, so when air moves through them, it creates a whistling or wheezing sound. Important: COPD is a chronic condition, but with proper treatment, inhalers, lifestyle changes, and avoiding smoking, people can manage it and live better. ⚠️ If someone has persistent cough, breathlessness, or wheezing, they should consult a doctor early. One of the hardest parts about chronic illness is the emotional whiplash. One day you’re in a hospital bed, wondering how your body got here… And a few weeks later, you’re laughing, outside, feeling almost like yourself again. Both are real. Both are your life. That’s the paradox no one really talks about. Every day is different. The lows can be unbearable. And the effort it takes to find even small moments of joy is something most people will never fully understand. But those moments? They matter more than anything. Because when things get really dark, I don’t just sit in the pain… I reach back to the days I felt alive. The times I pushed myself out of my comfort zone. The memories that remind me: this life is still mine. Chronic illness has taken a lot from me. But it’s also taught me how to live in a way I never did before. Slower. More present. More intentional. Happiness doesn’t come easy here. But I do believe it’s still possible— when you learn to work with your body instead of against it, and when you hold onto the moments that make everything feel worth it. If you’re in a hard season right now… don’t forget: it won’t always feel like this. 🤍 #chronicillnesswarrior #spoonie #chronicillnesslife #eds #pots

1. Shortness of breath. It was my senior year of high school summer softball season. I’ve been lead off hitter but I could bunt for base hit or hit home runs🤪 I would always steal second base too. Giving it my all of course always, I would be left huffing and puffing after this type of exertion. My high school softball coach would always say “Kate stop holding your breath when you run”😂 this got worse freshman year of college. I played softball still and would have a hard time during workouts. The doctor there ruled it has sports induced asthma and gave me an inhaler. Turns out it was a mass growing on my chest. 2. Paleness. I really noticed this whenever I had my picture taken. Especially in the summer when the rest of my body was tan. 3. Small lump in my neck. This was one of the very first symptoms I had but it never concerned me because it would come and go. I just thought my body was fighting illness and it was a swollen lymph node from that. 4. Fatigue. This really started during freshman year of college. I just wrote it off as getting used to 3-4 hour practices and weightlifting in the early morning. 5. Itchy skin and night sweats. This was one of my last symptoms. I didn’t really understand why this one was happening. Thought maybe the dryness of my skin from the dorm water. 6. Weight loss. I was stating to get very thin and not very muscular with how active I was in my new routine. Again, just thought it was increasing my activity level plus walking on campus for class. These are just some of the symptoms I experienced before my diagnosis with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. If you’re experiencing any unusual symptoms, it does not hurt to get them checked out. So thankful for provision the Lord had over my life at this time and by the time they caught it, it was only stage 2. #GodIsGood #cancersurvivor #hodgkinslymphoma #lifeaftercancer

In 1990, Japanese cardiologists began documenting patients who arrived at hospitals with all the signs of a heart attack. Chest pain. Shortness of breath. Abnormal ECGs. But when they examined the arteries, there were no blockages. Instead, they found something stranger. The left ventricle of the heart had changed shape. It ballooned outward, resembling a traditional octopus trap used by fishermen. They named the condition Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy. What caused it wasn’t plaque or cholesterol. It was loss. During intense grief or shock, the body releases a surge of stress hormones so strong that it temporarily stuns the heart muscle. The heart doesn’t fail. It freezes. Its pumping ability collapses under the chemical weight of emotion. Clinicians noticed this most often in people who described themselves as “holding it together.” Widows managing funerals. Parents staying functional. Professionals returning to work too quickly. The body didn’t collapse when the mind refused to. Heartbreak was never a metaphor. It was language trying to describe a physical event before medicine caught up. You weren’t dramatic. You weren’t weak. Your heart was chemically overwhelmed. If the body can register loss this precisely, what else has it been carrying quietly for you? We may never cross paths again. Follow so you don’t lose us — @iamcreationretreat

In Red Dead Redemption 2, Arthur contracts pulmonary tuberculosis after Thomas Downes coughs infectious droplets into his face, which is a medically accurate transmission. By the time he’s diagnosed, symptoms like chronic coughing, coughing up blood, weight loss, fatigue, and shortness of breath point to advanced TB. In Red Dead Redemption 2, the 1899 setting makes the diagnosis a death sentence—no antibiotics, no real treatment. The disease progresses slowly and realistically, and it’s used to drive Arthur’s end-of-life reflection and redemption arc #gaming #gamer #gamingcommunity #gamingmeme #videogames #reddeadredemption #reddeadredemption2 #reddead #rdr2 #arthurmorgan #ps5 #ps4 #ps3 #ps2 #ps1 #playstation #rockstargames

Tension pneumothorax is a life‑threatening emergency where air builds up in the pleural space, collapsing the lung and pushing the heart and other structures to the opposite side. It causes sudden chest pain, shortness of breath, hypoxia, and can lead to shock and cardiac arrest if not treated immediately. Key signs include decreased breath sounds on the affected side, hyper‑resonance, and tracheal deviation away from the affected side. Immediate treatment is needle decompression followed by chest tube insertion. #tensionpneumothorax #medicaleducation #medicine #surgery #medicaltraining

Comment "DETOX" and I’ll send you the details that changed everything for me and many families 💬 Remember the world-stopping narrative they sold us 😷 Now, experts are peeling back the layers on the real, lingering aftermath often called long COVID—think relentless brain fog, anxiety, fatigue, and shortness of breath 🌀 But what if the root cause isn’t just a mysterious virus, but something left behind Enter the spike protein and its nasty habit of behaving like a toxin, potentially driving inflammation and immune confusion throughout the body 🧬 Couple that with the heavy metals like aluminum that can act as a persistent trigger, and you have a recipe for chronic dysfunction Detoxing this modern mess requires a smart, two-pronged approach: neutralizing and clearing spike protein fragments and chelating out the embedded heavy metals that disrupt cellular function 🧲 This isn’t about harsh protocols, it’s about using specific binders and nutrients that grab onto these toxins and escort them out Your body can recover its clarity and energy, but it needs the right tools to clean up this unique post-pandemic debris field 🛠️ Ignoring it and hoping it fades is a strategy, just not a great one If you’re tired of not feeling like yourself and suspect these lingering toxins are the culprits, there is a clear path forward Comment “DETOX” below for my detailed protocol on spike protein and heavy metal detox and follow for more recovery truths 💉
