If you don’t believe me, just go back on my IG a couple years and see for yourself. These 3 movements made me way better at skiing👇 Wanna get better at spinning off jumps? Start running 180 BOX JUMPS: 1-2 sets X 5 reps on each side. Start with a low height and work your way up. Wanna ride away from heavier impact? Rip some NARROW STANCE SQUATS: 3-4 sets of 8-12 has been money for me. Go deep and bounce at the top of each rep. Ass to grass on these if your knees allow. Wanna have more control on rails? Add in SINGLE LEG ROMANIAN DEADLIFTS: 2-3 sets of 6-8 is all ya need friend. Find a spot on the ground to stare at and focus on balance and stability. Push through your heel to activate that glute. Get ahead of the 99% of people who won’t do be doing these for pre season and watch your skiing improve😤 DM me if you have any questions and I’ll help as much as possible🫶

Do you have one leg that’s stronger than the other? Single-leg exercises are some of my favorites for off-season ski training because they build stability, balance, and strength through each leg individually, and this mimics the way you actually move on snow. Training one leg at a time helps correct imbalances, improve edge control, and transfer power more efficiently turn after turn. Circuits like this one are fun and challenging and really show where you have imbalances. Let me know if you give this one a try! #skiing #skiworkouts

It’s hard to replicate the forces of skiing off snow, but we can definitely improve our awareness of our body under load. Are you angulating from the hips or the spine? Are you able to control the inside leg at high edge angles? The Dynamic Skier’s Plank will let you practice these skills under load.
